PANDORA’S BOX
Pandora’s Box, a series composed of multiple episodes, reaches its fifth chapter with this editorial photoshoot.
In this episode, we follow an actor arriving at a studio for an audition, where they embody a character experiencing the challenges of living with multiple personality disorders.
The performance delves into the raw emotional spectrum of these disorders, capturing the tension, vulnerability, and despair of a fragmented psyche.
This approach allows for a profound exploration of the human condition through visual and narrative storytelling.
In this episode, the character portrays five distinct personalities: Obsessive-Compulsive, Histrionic, Dependent, Schizotypal Obsessive, and ultimately the anguish stemming from the character’s life coming to an end.
The brief provided to the team outlined the creation of an editorial project in the form of a conceptual photo novel, using the story of Little Red Riding Hood as its foundation.
Following a general exploration of the tale, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the most challenging traits exhibited by each character. We then juxtaposed these traits with various personality disorders recognized in modern psychology to develop a nuanced and symbolic interpretation.
